It's no secret the contouring is all the rage right now. Not only is it the perfect way to highlight your assets and hide your flaws, but have you seen some of the crazy transformations people have done? It seriously amazes me what makeup can do.
I have wanted to try my hand at some contouring, so I picked up the Physician's Formula Glowing Nude Powder palette from the Nude Wear line. I was also in the market for an under eye concealer so I grabbed Touch of Glow which is also from the Nude Wear line. P.S. Physician's Formula is cruelty free!

How cute is this packaging? I couldn't resist! This is not a true contouring pallet, but for my first time I decided this would be a safe bet to play with. It had everything I needed: a highlighter, a darker shade, an in between shade, and a blush. I looked up some tutorials online and then I got to work!
This is actually a full face of Physician's Formula. I started with the Touch of Glow concealer under my eyes. This went on really nicely and dried quickly which I loved. It's not full coverage, but it's a nice addition to my makeup routine to help brighten up my dark circles.
I then applied a Physician's Formula CC cream and powder, both from the Organic Wear line.
It was finally time to contour with the Glowing Nude Powder! I used the darker shade around my hair line on my forehead, and on my jaw line. I also added some under my cheek bones and sides of my nose. The highlighter was perfect for the middle of my forehead, cheekbones, nose, and under my eyes. Finally I added the blush to the apples of my cheeks.

Here is a before and after shot. Yes, this is a photo of my face 100% naked! Scary, I know.

It was a lot of fun playing around with contouring, but I had wished it was more noticeable. I ended up looking like I had a flawless face of makeup (which is not a bad thing!) but I was hoping for a more dramatic look. I still have been loving this pallet for when I am looking for a bit more coverage than my standard face.
